WHAT IS TPI?
TPI helps you run your business as efficiently as possible by connecting your FE Petro™ submersible pumping system with an INCON™ fuel management system. The TS-550 evo™ and FE Petro™ intelligent controllers communicate via turbine pump interface to enable the devices to share feedback from:

  1. Containment monitoring
  2. Submersible pump performance
  3. Tank and inventory levels
  4. Line leak detection

REMOTE PUMP INTERFACE
Sometimes, a site reports on an intermittent problem with the pumping system but cannot provide any detailed feedback of the alarms being issued by the intelligent controllers or the tank gauge. With TPI communicating between the intelligent controllers and the fuel management system, a technician can remotely connect to the site to review the logged event history and view the status of the intelligent controller.

PUMP IN WATER AUTOMATION
When the water level in a tank approaches the pump intake, TPI enables the TS-550 evo™ gauge to enter alarm mode and automatically shut down the pump. By doing this, TPI prevents water being pumped into the customer’s vehicle and avoids potential damage and lost customer loyalty.

CLOGGED STP ESCALATION
When the intelligent controller reports a dry run, the fuel management system automatically verifies product levels and determines whether a clogged intake has occurred; in which case the TS-550 evo™ will automatically attempt to clear the intake. By attempting to clear the intake on its own, TPI can eliminate the need for a service call. Whether or not the intake is cleared, TPI will log the alarm to provide a detailed history to expedite service in the event of future alarms.

TANK LEVELING
‘Leveling Mode’ can be used to keep two storage tanks of the same product at the same percentage full without the use of a syphon bar between the two tanks. Alternatively, ‘Priority Mode’ will pump one tank down to a certain level before turning on the other pump. ‘Leveling Mode’ mimics a traditional syphon system without the upfront cost of piping between the two storage tanks or the additional piping penetrations in the tank sumps. This also avoids the on-going maintenance cost of servicing the syphon bar.

ENHANCED OVERFILL PREVENTION
With TPI, the fuel management system is able to react automatically to prevent overfill conditions while maintaining pumping activities by commanding the intelligent controllers based on inventory level feedback.

EMAIL AND TEXT NOTIFICATION
Fuel management rules engine can automatically notify the proper off-site personnel to ensure timely responses to alarms, while remote access to view status ensures accurate responses.
